Granted me a degree?
MSU didn't grant me shite. I worked for and earned my degree but I am still a Bama fan.

I met a guy onetime that was a diehard Alabama fan but went to aubrun and he even had the job of taking care of the eagle on gamedays. He said he wore a Bama shirt under the blue jumpsuit he had to wear...

That kind of thing isn't uncommon.
Almost half of Louisville's student body are die hard UK fans. That's a little different though, since most of those kids are from Louisville and just want to stay home for college or had scholarships.

I'm from NWA and went to Arkansas. So youre saying that I'm the truest of true Razorback fans.
According to your similar brethen, you are the ONLY 'true fans' of the Razorbacks.

I was in your same situation. My dad is from Louisiana, and was an LSU fan, so naturally I was an LSU fan since birth even though I grew up in Mississippi. When I went to college it would be three times more expensive to go to LSU, so I ended up going to state to get a degree.

By the 8th year they gave me a degree so I would go away.

There also a lot of Auburn Alumni's Children that could not get into Auburn (4-5 years ago) who had to go to Alabama. I do not know about other time frames (Daughters Graduating Class). Some of them started pulling for Bama, some stayed true to Auburn... Happens at both schools. The guy with the Bama shirt, was he there when the Eagle got sick and they interviewed all the staff?

Over one third of metro Cincinnati population lives across the river in Kentucky.
Isn't Covington Kentucky 10 times closer to Cincinnati than Covington,La is to New Orleans ?

I dont think there is a minimum. People don't or shouldn't have to explain fandom. To me the biggest fan is the little kid or person who waits for their game listens on the radio or watches on tv and it makes their week to listen/watch the game.

You must be a fan of the school not just the football team.
I second this. I grew up in B.R. but after military service I needed to be close to family and went USA (Mobile). Having to work 40-50 hours a week and being older I really never was attached to school...just the place I happened to attend. But when I see Jindal and company stripping away LSU it sickens me.

If I could find that in Tennessee colors I may actually buy that.

I love all things Alabama because I grew up 30 miles away from Tuscaloosa and graduated from UA. Ironically, I will always have a love for the Vols. My first cousin played football there and his daughter played basketball there.
