The scuttle from our favorite VOLS insider is that Tony is seriously contemplating A&M. Danny White has dropped the ball, and Frank Anderson has a home in Houston. Elander has coaches in TX as well.
He has a 7 figure offer plus $35m in renovations promised from VOLS, so if he leaves it’s not about $.

The word from the A&M side is that Schloss and Vitello are 1a & 1b right now. Rumor was Schloss turned down around 2M a year from MSU a few years back. So A&M has to be willing to pay in that ballpark. We’re also getting ready for another 30ish M upgrade to facilities. We’re starting a bit ahead of UT as things currently stand facility wise. It’s likely Vitello has a chance to have a nice offer to weigh.

Vitello wanted our higher ups to come down to Columbia to see SC’s facilities. President Boyd showed up, but Danny White declined to go which apparently has left Vitello with a bad taste. Big money guys love him but I guess it’s a question of institutional support.

Whose word is it you are referring to because it’s garbage? Bianco is never leaving Oxford, nor should he. Perfect situation for him there. They are content with him and give him all necessary resources to be successful. LSU fans would be ready to fire him after one season of not going to the CWS. Unreasonable expectations at LSU and everything he wants/needs at Ole Miss.
Combine all of that with living in Oxford v. Baton Rouge. No way he leaves Ole Miss.
