I'm not sure this means anything regarding the outcome. Idk how you could recruit with any effectiveness with all this going on

So sad if he’s gone. He had a helluva life and created so much joy and laughter. I will mourn him for quite a while.

It’s silly of them to be out when the team needs to be together. Nothing they can do out on the road they can’t do from starkvegas

Man I wanted Mike Leach to replace Houston Nutt at Ole Miss.

Thoughts and Prayers for Coach Leach, his family and all of Bulldog Nation.

I would expand, your primary is your gateway. Not only them (good bedside manner and open to your input) but their staff are key as the staff get you to the right specialist. Cardiologist is your go to heart guy, and here you want the best you can get (as I notice they usually have the team of nurses, drug folks, rehab, and dietitians) so lots of folks are looking at each aspect

vvvv I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! vvvv

If your diagnosis is lung (like COPD, BOOP, pneumonia, worsening cough, etc) just to be safe, have them look at heart as well. Fluid around the heart is dangerous and early symptoms (when you need to catch it) get missed when they focus on lungs first.

I was criticized during Egg Bowl and in this thread about how Leach looked at the game but right then I was like "Seen this before". It is not that I am a doctor or even that smart, just you go through life and it educates you in a way to see it when it happens later in life.

If she is under Tree Fiddy I might be open, but past Tree Fiddy I draw the line

I tend to agree

Internist seem to be the best primary once you pass 40 to 45

Not sure if this is still followed today but ...

Echo is what you want for EF's

Used to be dominated by GE and Siemens machines but I hear the new Cannons are really good. If anybody knows more, feedback would be good.

According to multiple sources, Leach, 61, collapsed at his home in Starkville, but did not receive medical attention for between 10 to 15 minutes. EMTs used a defibrillator machine and delivered multiple shocks to restore normal heart rhythm,” Reily wrote in the Mississippi Clarion Ledger. “It appears, according to sources, that Leach may have suffered seizures with the possibility of brain damage. Sources said the situation is dire.”

The Mississippi Clarion Ledger reports two of Leach’s four children are already in the hospital by their father’s side with the other two on their way.

Piece of cake!

The two where they lie ...

The shot they give in your hand joint for arthritis
The shot they give in your bum before hemorrhoid surgery

I have been told the shot it the eye for cataracts is up there too but still putting that one off for now.

This thread should be about leach and that’s it

There have been some really good "wake up" posts and some very touching posts from folks who have had similar or with their family. I think these are valid as well. Leach was a coach and lots of "teaching moments" in some of theses posts.
