This. I encourage everyone to do what I do and go to a doctor at least once a year and get a basic checkup. Get blood drawn and have it sent to the lab and analyzed even if you feel perfectly healthy. There are signs in your blood that can point to potential problems before uou experience any symptoms. You could have high cholesterol and not know it, but finding out early before it does permanent damage will save your life as you can start medication and make dietary changes

Well let’s bring it back now. Shut the extra down. Let’s just pray for Mike’s family and friends.

When Bama played Texas Tech/Leach in the Cotton Bowl were we still using the 3-3-5 defense?

I’m not the one who derailed this into bitterness

Geez, this thread went off the rails
Let's get it back on track.
Who's funnier between Kiffin and Leach?

This situation is hard enough let alone at Christmas.
We talk about this a lot at the station when we respond to a tragic event around any holiday.
There's never a good time to unexpectedly lose a loved one, but over time some random day in June almost returns to being some random day in June.
When it's around a time of celebration, the joy of others serve as an annual, unavoidable reminder of the tragedy.

And I’m sure we all know people who are overweight and don’t take care of themselves and live long lives with no heart issues.
I have a close friend in his 40s who is overweight, smokes Marlboro reds daily, doesn’t drink water only tea and Diet Coke and alcohol. I’ve seen him drink beer 4 days straight and not eat a bite of food. His last doctor checkup he said the doc told him all his blood work was perfectly fine. I tell him all the time he is a scientific anomaly and they should study him

I think Leach is funnier naturally, Lane’s got a troll mentality about him I think and a lot of his humor comes from that. Maybe a tale of two dudes from different generations though.

Maybe this will put an end to this debate in this thread. Have heard in Mississippi for several weeks that he was battling a health issue (potentially some form of cancer).
Go back and watch his interviews late in the season, he didn't seem well. This appears to be connected to a bigger health issue.
Maybe this will put an end to the tin foil hat debate (and I'm no fan of mandated vaccines, but this debate here is ridiculous).

It's like who let the dogs out? We may never know.
I do know that Leach and Kiffin, other than being great fits at State and Ole Miss, were also good for the Egg Bowl rivalry. The rivalry had gotten so toxic under Mullen and Freeze that it had warped into something ugly and unenjoyable. Leach and Kiffin are both quirky enough to keep it interesting, but also like and respect each other enough to keep it between the ditches.

If that’s true, absolutely. However, I question how often he gets his bloodwork checked with that lifestyle lol

They'll just say there was a coverup by big pharma, the democrats, and all of Leach's doctors and family members.

This might still be my favorite Leach rant. NSFW. Very NSFW.
I love that one.
“Oh you played them close. frick that. frick that. We lost the goddamn game to university of Texas and we should have won the mother fricker”

“The mighty red raiders oh Baylor oh poo hoo well frick you frick me and frick everybody”
The great part of that rant is they actually won the game. They just didn’t win by enough to make Leach happy

This news blows major dick. The man is a legitimate treasure and the world will be a dimmer place if he leaves it.

Frickin right on dude, I am with you on this sentiment
How terminally online and ingesting internet poison do you have to be to pivot to conspiracy immediately after someone's death
Humanity for some can be irredeemable.

There is no “vaccine frickery”.
There unequivocally is. I'm not saying it was intentional or anything like that. I also don't try to equate every death to it, especially in cases like this where numerous other risk factors were clearly present.
However, you trying to act like everything is fully on the up and up is as silly as the people trying to act like an unhealthy man in his 60s in a high stress position must have had a heart attack because of the vaccine.
Regardless, hope the best for The Pirate and his family.

If any person would have their obituary or death thread derailed by something completely off topic it would be this man.
