Folks need to start prepping themselves. No one is guessing. Or if they are, they are correct.

The accident he's referring to happened in the 1980s. It was a German built MBB bo- 105 helicopter. It as flying from Baptist hospital in Jackson to UAB and crashed into a river on return, killing the crew. I had a relative in that hospital that very day and remember seeing the helicopter on the pad just before it left.

We probably won’t hear anything tonight regardless

Yeah a friend had to be the one to say stop with her father after this happened. It is a supremely shitty place to find yourself, and I feel for anyone who has had to do it.
They said her heart had been out of rhythm so long they feared brain damage. My exact words were, "do not bring my mama out of there brain damaged, you let her go."
Two of her grown grandchildren were there and backed the decision 100%. The rest of the family also backed my decision.

I've loved the Pirate since that Michael Crabtree play in 2009 and fell even more in love with him after ESPN tried to cuck him and he responded with a "frick you". Guy is a brilliant offensive mind and an even better personality. Wishing him well

Edit: If there is one rule to abide by after a death of a famous person, it's "give the family the appropriate amount of time to make the death a private matter that belongs solely to them." To announce it right away would be an invasion of their privacy.
This is no longer respected in the age of bloggers
911 was 1st call for a former NBA player
I was 2nd call
Went and picked up the person who called me. Went straight to the wife to break the news and before we could get there (15 min to 1/2 hour) it was already on the mainstream news because some blogger had been monitoring the radio traffic between the police and EMT's.

It's not good news. Coach is in dire straits and could use prayers from anyone inclined to offer them.

I’m not sure but I don’t think it’s anything official, just that it’s not good and more than likely he won’t recover . I’d rather not speculate but that’s the thing that’s being said

I agree. I’m not gonna say what the most recent update was, but I’m afraid this isn’t going to have a happy ending. Heartbreaking

Exactly. And it's been this way for a while- media was so eager to be the first to declare Paterno dead, they announced his death a full day before it actually happened

Sucks to have Mississippi health care. Coaches should take those things into consideration.
People are evacuated by helicopter from Louisiana to UMMC and St Dominic all the time.

I loathe Clay Travis for this very reason. So quick to clickbait and no thought for family and friends.
