People closer to the situation speculating his brain went too long without oxygen.

All hands on deck for the Pirate.
In a world of cookie cutter coach speak, a quirky intellectual with a wry sense of humor is such a breath of fresh air.

They are probably trying that ice-bath body-cooling thing now.

Others keep saying yellow = jaundice
I was saying grey / pale or as others said when I was younger "like death warmed over"
Which what makes me think blockage as better recovery odds but time is critical.
He could have both and doubles the jeopardy.
Guy I knew had EF approaching single digits but was cognizant and took serious turn when they got the cardio specialist and an Echo in about 1/2 hour. Then they confirmed just how bad it was.
EF is funny in different people and I admit I do not fully understand how say one person could have EF of 12 and looking OK and another have EF of 12 and symptom as you describe.

Veterinarians posing as doctors.
Let me tell you a little secret. Human doctors work on one animal and it's an animal that can tell you what they're feeling, what they've been doing, and cooperate with their treatment.
Your average neighborhood vet has to treat multiple species of every animal class, none of which can assist with diagnosis or treatment in any way.
They aren't posing as doctors at all - particularly when you talk about chronic human illnesses. Your dog and cat gets the same ones you do and very often they're treated with the exact same medications.

Well, and Southern mama's and grannies that knew how to cook with lard, real butter, real cheese, real heavy cream, and lots of flour, sugar, and salt.
This was all fine when people went to work at day break, did manual labor 12hrs til it was dark or beyond. Sitting behind a screen all day and eating like that is not good.
