The official #BLM movement organization (look them up) IS a farce. Look where their money goes. To white politicians.
Most of the people protesting don't even know.
Black lives do matter, as do all lives. EVEN THE UNBORN.
But the official #BLM organization is bad.

The optics are that he caved. Quicker than Drew Brees.

Sure, but he never apologized. In my mind an apology would be caving. I am a democrat but I understand there are a lot of different beliefs out there and we should all be able to believe what we want to believe.

OAN is a conservative news source. Gundy should be able to watch whatever he wants. I guess if he had a T-shirt from Communist News Network (CNN) that would be OK. He was also on a fishing trip, which is a private personal venture, not representing the university.

If they fire him, I hope he sues the living shite out of OSU.

If Mike Gundy is fired, there is no such thing as freedom of speech anymore. He is entitled to his far right opinion.

It's getting to a point that it is only okay to voice leftist opinions, and that is a very scary thought.

and there is the rub!!
it always comes back to the "racial" issue.

if Gundy were a black man, or african american and was wearing the OAN t-shirt not a sole would give any comment here or on fakenews.

similar to black on black crime and the huge black abortion killings that take place each day.

this whole thing is all just a farce with fakenews. the antifa need to take out these bastards. em

The piece of shite running back has it made with his black privilege.

If he gets caught doing ANYTHING, he can apologize and blame it on imaginary white man reason like his fatherless home, or institutional racism holding him down. Then all is forgiven with rehab or just the apology.

Black athletes can whoop the dog shite out of a woman on camera and come back to a new contract. White coaches can't pick a tee shirt out of their drawer they probably got in the mail for a subscription to wear to go fishing. Because we all know we wear our best gear on the river or lake - and also pontificate our political beliefs to the birds, water, and fish that see the OAN on the shirt.

This is extortion type shite. I hope he sues for defamation, then sues the University.

not that i think there is anything wrong with being a democrat.

i grew up as a democrat just as my grandfather was. he belong to woodman of the world.
an organization that had similar views as the KKK.

eventually i realized the democrats were a hate filled, lying, conniving, cheating bastards that filled their pockets with hard working, middle class, God fearing peoples money.
which has only become worse today.

the republican party is following the dems in many ways.

God bless the USA. keep your powder dry and be prepared. i learned that in Boy Scouts.

Rules for Radicals:

quote:

To improve the allegedly abysmal condition of blacks in the United States, BLM has issued a series of non-negotiable demands. These include:

“an end to all forms of discrimination and the full recognition of our [Blacks’] human rights”;

“an immediate end to police brutality and [to] the murder of Black people and all oppressed people”;

“full, living-wage employment for our people,” to ensure “our right to a life with dignity”;

“decent housing” and “an end to gentrification”;

the cessation of racially “discriminatory discipline practices” in the schools;

“an end to the school-to-prison pipeline,” a term for the practice of using black students’ behavioral problems as an excuse for pushing them out of the classroom and into the juvenile- and criminal-justice systems;

“quality education for all,” including “free or affordable public university” enrollment;

“freedom from mass incarceration and an end to the prison industrial complex,” whose hallmarks include “the over-policing and surveillance of [black] communities,” the enactment of many “racist laws,” and “the warehousing of black people”;

“access to affordable healthy food for our neighborhoods”;

“an aggressive attack against all laws, policies, and entities that disenfranchise any community from expressing themselves at the ballot” (e.g., Voter ID laws);

“a public education system that teaches the rich history of Black people”;

“the release of all U.S. political prisoners”;
“an end to the military industrial complex that incentivizes private corporations to profit off of the death and destruction of Black and Brown communities across the globe”;

a comprehensive Justice Department review of “systematic abuses by police departments” across the United States;
congressional hearings investigating “the criminalization of communities of color”;

an end to “the use of profiling on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin or religion by law-enforcement agencies”;

the implementation of a National Plan of Action for Racial Justice by the Obama Administration, addressing “persistent and ongoing forms of racial discrimination and disparities that exist in nearly every sphere of life”;

the release, by the office of U.S. attorney general, of “the names of all [police] officers involved in killing black people within the last five years … so they can be brought to justice—if they haven’t already”; and
“a decrease in law-enforcement spending at the local, state and federal levels and a reinvestment [through the federal government] of that budgeted money into the black communities most devastated by poverty in order to create jobs, housing and schools.”

Several of the foregoing demands are clearly modeled on those that were put forth by the Black Panther Party in the 1960s.
