Why, why do these young men with so much at stake do stuff that can ruin a future with millions of dollars at stake??
As a Mom, this stuff make me want to shake them!
I hope he gets his shite together and straightens up. Every school has those guys that had the world at their feet and made bad decisions and end up being the "such a shame he threw it all away" guy.
I mean, come on, firing up a bowl is not worth throwing your future away.

Cheer up brother.
You got Yeldon coming. And Grant, FWIW, is not a bad back.

I'm wondering the same thing...if I were in his shoes, I would do everything in my power to stay out of trouble, help my team, and be loved by all Auburn faithful. He needs to straighten or he will not be back. ST put the chances at 50% that he might be back, because Yeldon will get his chance...
RTRS, I'm cheery, just disappointed now. Stupid decisions.

Wow. Very disappointed in Dyer. Kids with that amount of talent need to get their head on straight.
Guess we are going to see a huge amount of OMac and Tre in the bowl. Speed, speed, speed.

I don't see us winning the bowl game. I just don't...
Such a fricking shame.

We'll see. Hopefully the guys will rally and have their best game. Virginia is a decent team, but its not like we are hopeless without Dyer.

Ya we had more issues facing this team anyway. It could change the dynamics for the good of the team if the attitude thing was in fact a cause of a chasm among the team?

I have zero respect for Virginia. I don't know why.

In their final game, at home, for a chance to play in the ACC title game, Virginia suffered a 38-0 loss to Va Tech. If we can't beat them, even without Dyer, I will be a little worried about next year.

Been worried for 2012 since the Arky game

I think Tre Mason will pleasantly surprise you in the bowl game. He would've started at RB for some teams this year. In the limited action he saw, he produced.
This isn't news to people who live around AU and go downtown. Dyer is known for this mess along with some others that won't be mentioned. It's funny how different you can be portrayed on TV than how you are in real life.

I've seen in multiple places that Dyer is probably done. I can't believe these guys with a pretty good chance of making NFL money blow it before they ever get it. He may still do something to make that happen, but he definitely isn't helping himself. The good thing for Auburn is that RB is probably our deepest position with McCalebb, Blakely, Mason, Grant, and Yeldon.

Maybe he didn't inhale? Look word is from that Dyer is possibly transfering next year anyways not sure if he is planning a JC or sitting out and gambling on his senior year,Either way he is a power running back and doesn't get used as much in that offense that Malzahn runs anyways I mean Mac is more effective. Dyer was just trying to get his head straight for his finals and had to wake and bake. :beatdeadhorse:

Sorry to hear that Aubs - Dyer is a beast. Hope he gets his head on straight.
