Can't say I'm surprised. I've seen him downtown and he's known to have some character issues.

We'll be fine without him.

And doesn't this make Latarian a thug POS? I mean, let's not be hypocritical...

If this carries over to next season, we'll get to see Blakely and Yeldon early and often. I'm actually kinda excited

I was excited to see Dyer, Yeldon, and Blakeley at running back -- with Kiehl Frazier at QB... This just sucks to me. He's supposed to be our leaders and he's off smoking weed and shite. I mean, I understand lots of people do it, too, but he's got to have his head on straight. Hopefully he'll be back game 1 next season.

I guess this would suck more to me if I didn't expect it. With all the rumors about Dyer this whole season and during the offseason, I was expecting something like this to eventually happen. So I'm glad it's finally being dealt with and we will be able to see our other young, exciting guys

We'll be fine. We are as loaded at running back as anyone in the country. I hate it, but I don't think we'll be hurting.

@AUSportTalk: Does Dyer return in 2012? It's according to whether or not he chooses to follow the plans that Coach Chizik has laid down for him

Yea, per Scott Reaves, if he follows all of CGC's guidelines this summer, he'll be back next season...

If not, he's gone...

What's the deal with him? Seemed like an alright kid to me. Usually when I think character issues I think of a kid like Crowell. I don't recall ever seeing Dyer quit on his team or fake an injury to get out of a game.

I think he read too many of his own press clippings and figured having fun was more important since January than working and being a good teammate.

He's a different type of kid than Crowell. Dyer is a competitor and gives 100%, but he's cocky. He comes off as arrogant to many who know him and has had ego problems since last year.

I don't know what's up with this weed thing, but I guess it's definitely a problem too
