Hahahaha don't agree with me now. For real, I wouldn't be surprised if these rumors are true. After all, Weatherspoon got suspended for this. I just rather hear it from a reliable source than a bunch of rumors.

Agreed. No mississippi state sports writer has said a word on it.

I would rather win the Music City Bowl doing things the right way then win the Orange Bowl by cheating. Sorry, I believe in hard work, doing things the right way, and accountability. That is also why I think our players have been so successful in the NFL as of late. I don't want to see that change.

I doubt you will hear anything official on it. These players will just be suspended.

This^^

MSU message boards love to complain about our compliance dept, but we're pretty, pretty good at getting things by without causing too much stir. One of the advantages of being small.

Something did happen. People will sit. There aren't any bad guys here, just a disgruntled tutor who shouldn't have ben in that position. Most fans will never miss a beat

It isnt Steve Robertson. According to him, everything at Mississippi State is glorious while mentioning Ole Miss in the same breath.

I'll keep it short because I know most know this, but the SEC notified Auburn of the issues with Mississippi State's recruitment of Cam via the allegations of the MSU booster and Cecil PFP discussion. Auburn's compliance vetted the allegation and was confident not only in Auburn's handling of Cam's recruitment, but that the NCAA rules would not punish Auburn or Cam if the allegation was proven to be true.

Thankfully, Auburn complied with the NCAA when a NOA came in October and ruled Cam ineligible in November but the NCAA reinstated Cam after they accepted Auburn's argument that neither Cam nor Auburn broke a rule and Cam wasn't aware of any rules that were broke on his behalf.

I never understood why MSU didn't face some penalties, but I guess the NCAA got tired of the handling of the case in the media and just put it to bed.

I ask for my original question...where is the link of Auburn "stonewalling" the NCAA?

Agreed. They've never said that there would be no suspensions, they just repeat. "there are no suspensions". Well no, not yet
