I don’t see how even just college football is going to take place anyway due to COVID. If one or two players/coaches on a team get it, do they have to quarantine the whole team for two weeks? If so, what happens to those games? What if a state won’t allow events in its state or won’t allow its state schools to play? Those are just a few issues on a virtually unlimited list of potential issues that would need to be addressed before a season could start. I don’t know if they can all be adequately addressed in order for a football season to occur.

You would think Hurd immunity would eventually take shape with many of these football teams where they had a spike of new Covid. I Find it weird about this new rise in cases. I don’t know anyone who is getting contracted. I knew people that contracted it in March and April. ICU units are below number. Yet they say ICU and hospitalization Covid rates are up. Something is not passing the smell test.. again Covid deaths which is the most important number has collapsed.
Forget election year politics. This will ultimately be a war between Fauci and The Power 5. These campus presidents know they are hedged well for a possible lost season. In fact many would go insolvent. I think it’s a go. Just don’t think we will have many fans in the stands. Idk

Yeah the hospice agency’s doctor classified my godmother’s cause of death as Covid after telling repeatedly she didn’t have Covid when he was at her house. She even tested 3 times. All negative. She died of natural causes.

Just put some thought into what may happen if we peacefully protest college and pro sports by simply not watching or attending games. These athletes can protest or do what they want. The commissioners can make all the rules they want.
By watching these sports we support them financially and they will survive without our attendance however there will no longer be huge contracts and high paid coaches and athletes getting super rich.
I no longer watch pro football and soon Saturday afternoons and nights will be filled with something other than watching college football.

I actually admire the people thinking of quitting. They’re putting their principles over something that’s devolving into bullshite entertainment that hypocritically lives off a legacy built on the past that in now rejects. Once you remove the principles and heritage of the game, aren’t you really just left with a bunch of pathetic jock sniffing soyboys? I’m not so sure football with be a major sport in the not too distant future. It might not even exist at all.
