Agree. If attendence is down the next several months they can blame it on Covid. Won't be able to tell how many are boycotting sports because of politics for a year or more.

Covid is the biggest political hoax is the century... Funny I don't see any of the rioters falling and dying in the streets(would be a blessing if they would start dropping)...
But Trump rallies, sporting events etc. are supposedly so dangerous.. Complete and utter BS..

Sports have ALWAYS been political. What do you think the first Olympics were about? Why do you think none other than Hitler restarted them? Tribes, city-states, and nations alike settled disputes via sports since time immemorial. Likewise political ideas and awareness have been a part of them since humans first ran events. The only time sports haven't been political is when we were children and only then because we were too young to realize everything that was going on around us.

I would argue with you, but you are obviously being disingenuous and there is no point in arguing with a liar.
Case in point, the reason everyone is pissed off today is because of the “Gator bait” ban at Florida. That came direct from administration, not from the players, so there goes your theory.

If I were a Mississippi State fan, I too would probably consider watching the actual football team the least fun part of attending games.
