With all the balls and strikes and fouls?
Pitcher staring intently at the catcher, shaking or nodding his head as he decides the pitch?
Manager waddling his fat arse out to the mound to consult with said pitcher?
All the times runner at 1st creeps off and the pitcher keeps looking over his shoulder, then throwsrealfast to the first basemen trying to pick him off but never does?
How about the batter sauntering up to the plate, uses the bat to knock off the dirt from his cleats,takes a spit and finally decides to step into the box.
Man this is gonna be good.

Meh. Texas Tech was soft in the CWS last season too. Vandy and State look like the two best teams to me so I figure whichever one gets through that bracket is the champ.
(Although I'd much rather it be my hogs this time)

I'm sitting here on Devils Lake in Michigan right now watching this game with my Michigan buddies.
Their coach can coach. We tried to hire him away from Michigan this past search. This guy was at Maryland just a few years ago and he turned them around overnight. Now he has Michigan in the CWS and people going crazy up here for baseball.
Just saw Katie Holmes walk through the bar .... she's not that hot.
Anyways, don't overlook Big Blue, this guy can flat out coach. He sent Holbrook into a nose dive in our regional that he never recovered from.

Michigan burning its #2 pitcher in the 8th inning. Don’t think I’ve seen that in a game 1 of the cws.

If he can be efficient it is nice to get that first win and he may be able to go again on Monday.
As an aside, a friend of mine who i grew up with is up there. His son is a reliever for Tech so I’m rooting for them. Kid had TJ surgery last year.

Do you pitch your 3 against Ark:FSU and have your 2 available for an elimination game or a 1-0 game. The day between games opens up some possibilities.
