THIS!!!!!!!! Read this post carefully Buckeye fans. I brought this up to the other goofball guy but he lacked the brain cells (apparently) to comprehend it.

OSU fans dont' ever want to recognize that MH's last catch of the game came wiht 11 minutes left in the second quarter. He basically started out on absolute fire the first 20 minutes of the game then did nothing. We completely stoned him up until he left the game with injury, but people will only pretend that his injury is single handedly what caused them to sputter.
And most of his damage came on scramble drill routes. You know, the routes you have to go to once the first reads are all covered. CJ Stroud finally remembered to use his feet and extend plays, and that'll bite you sometimes on defense. They burned us on 2nd chances, but like you said... Once we saw everything they had for MHJr, he went into solitary confinement before Bullard put him on death row.

why isn't the Tenn game included in that same conversation

Football is about matchups. You can't make blanket generalizations like that.
Ohio State was a very good team last year but give them Tennessee 's schedule for example and they likely have two regular season losses at least. It's the week in and out grind that gets you in this conference and most top SEC teams play good OOC competition on the side as well.
Do you know how frustrating it is to have Bama and UGA on your schedule every year?
Nevermind the other teams on our schedule last year like LSU, SC, returning ACC champs Pitt on the road before they imploded and Florida who we are just jinxed against ever since Spurrier arrived.

UGA missed 2 or 3 field goals.

Bingo
Georgia's style is built to murder teams like Michigan. Georgia has few weaknesses, but the best route is a high octane passing game that doesn't require a steady running game to get moving. Tennessee's offense uses a ton of running, contrary to popular belief. (I believe going into UGA-UT, UGA had a higher percentage of passing plays to rushing)
UGA was able to stalemate the Tennessee rushing attack with a lighter box, and therefore could commit more guys to the secondary. This threw Tennessee off schedule and led to them facing more 3rd and longs since they couldn't count on a solid yards per carry from the backfield. 3rd and long means pin your ears back and let the pass rushers fly past the o-line working on a hard count.
Ohio State only averaged about 1 more yard per carry than Tennessee (3.7 vs 2.2), but was able to tear through our defense because of the talent at WR and Stroud extending plays with his feet. Tennessee was struggling to contain the UGA rush, so Hooker rarely got the time to find his next route in his read. Ohio State also benefited from a more neutral crowd noise and generous non-holding calls.

Is that what it felt like to be a Bama fan
Yep. Going from hunter to hunted is quite a unique experience.
Wait 'til they break out the 'We Want Georgia' chants.

OSU was a missed 48 yard FG from beating UGA last year.
They weren’t that close to the posts.

Georgia still hasn't figured out how to slow down big time passing games.
We can slow them down. We can’t shut them down though

I'm more just saying it's not a huge blowout in the 2nd half. The 4th quarter was because OSU didn't have many viable offensive weapons left
Y’all clearly did a terrible job of building depth ready to step up.

But no team is going to have 4-5 first round wide receivers or 4-5 top RBs who are capable of beating a team as good as UGA. I'm more just saying it's not a huge blowout in the 2nd half. The 4th quarter was because OSU didn't have many viable offensive weapons left
Didn’t y’all win a national title with a 3rd string QB?
The luxury of the power programs is that they recruit to an exponential level that gives them depth that 98% of teams don’t have. It’s why there’s only about 6-10 teams in the country that can realistically win a national title every year.

Ha, great bulletin board material, as if Kirby needs any additional help in motivating UGA.

Frustrating?
Don’t VOLS want to play them every season?

I actually looked at this earlier in the year after Georgia won, by considering the "talent" rankings of the teams who have had success in the CFP — i.e., using weighted metrics that describe the recruiting rankings of the entire class present in a program for that given season.
Based on that data, during the CFP era: no team outside of the Top 9 in talent has won a title, only two teams outside of the Top 5 have done it, and only three teams have done so with talent ranked outside of the Top 2.
In other words, the farther you get from the Top 2 or even Top 5 in talent, the odds of success fall dramatically.
With the AQs filling slots in the coming 12-team playoff, IMO there is no realistic/significant probability that any of these "lesser talented" teams advance to the championship game, let alone win it.

I predict a number of 1st round beat downs once the 12 team format starts, lot of the less talented teams that looked pretty good on paper will get exposed.

So Harbaugh plans on beating Georgia in 6 years since it took him 6 years to beat Ohio State?

Ain’t gonna hate on someone who tells kids the truth.

Let me just throw this out there anyone who thought Ohio State's kicker would make a 50 yd field goal in that situation when he was 0-4 on kicks 50 yds or over on the year, those people lost their fricking minds. You could let that kid have 10 kicks from 50 yds in that situation and he would be 0-10.

Michigan will lose to Ohio State this year.
