He certainly was impressive. I'm not sure why he got it over Murray (more passing yards?) but I won't complain about it. He's legit.

So long as we can officially kill the "Murray can't win a big game" meme and give one of the best QBs in SEC history the recognition he has earned (he will likely have broken David Greene's SEC TD record and Querrfel's Yardage record by the Vandy game in 3 weeks) I'm perfectly fine with recognizing Mett for a great performance in a loss.

For sure.

But the SECCG game is the real monkey on Murray's back now.

And we can start up a new meme about Mett finishing off big games and executing the 2 minute offense.

Definitely the most thrilling top 10 game to date this year IMHO.

There are stupid people among us. Blaming a QB for the loss of a 22 man team is the sure sign that someone has not one athletic bone in their body. Anybody who played competitive sports knows beter

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a LSU QB would play like that, score that many points and we lose. Was a strange game for the Tigers.

I was really impressed with some of the throws he made. Reminded me of Mallett

Mett is stone cold planted.

ran the option a couple of times, to the short side no less. Frick, we could have peyton back there, and less would run that crap. Let's not forget, Mett ran it well. Why'd that defender even think he needed to stop Mett?

Aaron Murray named SEC offensive player of the week, not Mett.

They were both the main attraction in a classic match up.
