I don't see the comparison to J. Peppers. No one questioned Peppers' work ethic in college. Heck, as soon as football season was over, he would play big time basketball for the Heels, even going to a Final Four. That's not lazy.

Ouch!
Peppers work ethic has been questioned while he's been a pro not when he was in college.

Apparently opposing lineman were often confused when playing against Clowney because he would literally be asleep while they were blocking him.

Was it one of those ambien sleepwalking things, or are you just fricking stupid?

Merrill Hoge wasn't a very good running back.

In his defense, he played factor back.

I would draft Clowney in the top three if I were a GM. You simply can't pass on that type of natural talent. You can teach fundamentals and offer incentives in contracts to address effort (to a certain degree).

He called Cutler over VY and Leinart, so he's got a pass in my book.

Go ahead Texans don't Draft him but pray to God nobody in your division does. Dude is the best football player I've seen in a long time. 6'6" 270 pounds zero body fat and runs a 4 4/5 40. Gimme a freakin break. Clowney got screwed this year because the DE on the other side sucked azz plain and simple. And good for him for not saying it.

And this is old news. Clowney has been fat and lazy since August 29st, 2013

Potential doesn't win football games. Reminds me of all the hype about Mario Williams and how he was a one of kind pass rusher that you just couldn't pass up on.

Texans should draft Jake Matthews.

You mean the all time Texans leading sack and forced fumbles leader?
