I'm betting it will come down to Arky, Bama, and UT.

Has anyone figured out why he likes Arky so much or if there is some connection?

They are selling him big time on the production of other big backs in the system like Knile Davis and Michael Bush. Also we are starting to recruit the shite out of Memphis this year. We have one commit from Cordale Boyd and sit well with Robinson, Sheldon Dawson and Jamil Golden.

Ard for me to consider him elite when he hasn't played a down and more importantly is smaller than what Bama normally runs. He is better than most thought but I still remember a majority of fans on this board who were happy he signed just because it secured HaHa. I don't understand how we go from "we signed him to secure Dix" to
he is elite. Not a slight on the kid just funny how everyones attitude has changed considering he hasn't taken an sec calibur hit yet.

How do you consider any high school back elite then? You say we've missed out on elite running backs the last two years and now there is no such thing as an elite running back recruit.

I know the sky is always falling for you, but its hard to say a kid's not elite just because he's a little smaller than what we've had. BTW I've stood next to Mark Ingram and I would say he's about 5'8.

And the reason people think he's elite is because they've seen highlights, and (people will act like this doesn't matter) the recruiting services consider him elite.

Edit: the combine had Ingram at 5'9.

UT isn't even in his top 5.

Exactly. If he truly isn't going to announce until then his top 5 will more than likely change a good bit between now and then.

Not if they finish 6-6 again.

I'm kinda surprised that Miami is mentioned today in the Rivals article and in his scout article three days ago he left then out???

A little addition to Kage..

quote:

"I've narrowed it down to six schools," said Robinson. "Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi State, Miami, Memphis, and Auburn."

quote:

"I would say Auburn is sticking out right now, that was a great visit," said Robinson. "I stay in touch with Auburn and they stand out. They have a high place atop my list. Auburn has a strong program, and all the coaches are great and they want to achieve the same goal."

Also said his decision will come before the season starts.
