Did you seriously expect Coach Saban to take a 30 second time out in the middle of an National Championship game so that he could walk over and boot an undisciplined player off his team? In the middle of NC game?

And Brown had one good tackle on ST - he didn't help win that title.

A player who would melt down like that during the national championship game is not a player stable enough to be on your team.

I have zero insider info but I think when Saban finally got the full story of what happened, he told Brown to find a new team

Processed and at a position of need as well. He was a star on special teams and the history has been those that do are usually successful. Sucks but he earned this.

The real shame is that Saban not only didn't have him escorted to the locker room, he actually put him back in the game. Ethics be damned if it gets in the way of winning a football game.

Saban gets no kudos for this. Left him in the game to make a great special teams play.

I don't live my life through a football team. I'm glad you have something to boost your ego. Bet you really suffered during the Shula years.

Only place he played was on kickoff coverage.

He didn’t really do much to help. He made one illegal tackle on ST and that was it.
