DAWG CRED: Born in the old Athens General Hospital (1.1) miles from Sanford the same month and year that the greatest of all time, The Goal Line Stalker, Giant Black Jesus, Ol' Man River, finally broke his recruitment and signed with Georgia. Was told that I watched some games from The Tracks in a stroller (don't even act like thats the most hard core Georgia shite you've ever heard!!!!!) Both of my paretns are alums. But by the time I graduated from high school UGA was already a smart school.

THING TO REMEMBER ABOUT GEORGIA FANBASE: Georgia is the most championship-straved fan base in America. For several years there we were running neck and neck with Oregon fans. But then Oregon fell off and we don't have any real competition anymore. This makes Georgia fans anxious and difficult to deal with sometimes.

THING TO REMEMBER ABOUT GEORGIA FANBASE II: Years of frustration and years of national championship Blue Balls sometimes makes Georgia fans emotionally inconsistent and anry. "When Georgia starts losing, Georgia fans start fighting --- each other." Happened at the house party I was at during the first Georgia/Auburn game this season. Good ol fashioned dooshbag brawl in the front yard by the cars.

THING TO REMEMBER ABOUT GEORGIA FANBASE II: Atlanta makes UGA's fanbase really complicated and complex and weird. Atlanta is so transient and Atlanta has so many damn people and so much commerce and wealth that it's difficult to conceptualize. This creates more modern-day incarnates of country club yuppy fans -- tiny little khaki man shorts, 110 dollar Southern Piedmont Coastal Plains polo shirt and snitchy looking state trooper sunglasses and a matching Southern Piedmont Coastal Plains hat.In fact, in case you were wondering, Georgia and Alabama currently are tied in terms of highest volume of first generation fans. Alabama because they've kicked so much arse in the last 10 years and unaffiliated fans love a winner and unaffiliated fans have hitched up to Bama's bandwagon. You have to give credit to Alabama. They are tough and they'll beat your dick off!!! And Georgia has so many fans because Atlanta is a really transient place and an endless place that goes on forever.
