With a #6 ranked recruiting class and the additions from the portal, it’s safe to say that LSU has the best incoming athletes in 2025 overall than any other school. The 2025 season is going to be fun and LSU should make a national Championship run

That's a long paragraph to say that he loses the 1st game next year.

LSU definitely has a lot of talent coming in from the portal. The only thing that would concern me is that teams that have relied on the portal a ton have mixed levels of success. For every Miami, you have a FSU.
I think the model for teams (especially with as fertile of recruiting grounds as LSU) should be to rely mainly on high school recruiting and just supplement with the portal. Kind of like NFL teams with the draft/free agency.

Nothing seems as desperate as a team in the portal. Lsu fans talkd about kiffin doin it all.last yr. Now they n same shoes. Same shitty coach. Same 3-4 loss team

We've been in this model for a few years now and it amazes me that people still don't understand this.

Currently, LSU is at 23 high school kids and 14 transfers for this cycle.
That seems like a decent balance to me, you don't want a situation where you're taking 25-30 transfers IMO.

And just like his play on the field, no one really noticed.

That is like saying you have the best port-a-potty in your backyard.

Oh Stephen, you never learn.

That is 37 new players on an 85 man roster, or 44% of your team. The high school class seems optimal. I would rather be bringing in 6-8 transfers a year personally. Especially going into year 4 of a coaching regime.
