Chase will be a better nfl receiver.

I respect Smith but he will get pushed around in the league

nah, chase is a baby back bitch. Smith is the strongest sub 200lb human ever to exist.

Chase targets last season : 126 for 84 receptions

Smith targets this year : 132 for 105 receptions

Smith at least has the better hands...and with chase not playing for awhole year that number of receptions will go down his rookie...smith is the obvious better choice although chase has him in measurables

Good I hope he does! This quit on your team culture needs to end! He deserves to be the #1 receiver taken. I actually would love it if Chase slipped to the 2nd round.

Yeah, those numbers prove that and not anything else.

So what does it say to you? To me it says devonta at the minimum catches more balls thrown in his vicinity

Seeing how Chase averaged 4.5 more yards per reception, it tells me smith caught a lot more balls around the LOS.

Who has time to look at more than one stat to come to a conclusion though?

That just shows smiths versatility to catch a ball and make players miss...chase is justba deep ball threat

Personally I want the guy that can do it all

Just a “deep ball threat” who caught 84 passes? Seems like a pretty good receiver.

I never said chase wasnt good just that Smith had better hands and caught more balls backed up by the targets and receptions stat

That stat proves nothing about their hands.
