you give any good SEC team a month to prepare for a NC game with Oregon and the same thing happens that happened to Oregon last year.

Oregon put up mad numbers last year and then flopped in the Rose Bowl against Blohio state

I agree with this, even with our 1+1=1/2 qb.

I'm not as sold on Oregon's high paced attack. Sure, they score a lot, but defense wins championships. Hell, UT hung with em for a half.

The avg Defense that Oregon has played is 85th and thats only if you give their FCS opponents a ranking of 120.

False. Tennesse slowed them down for a half and then lack of depth took over. Oregon is good, dont get me wrong, but they wouldnt fly up and down the field like they do in the Pac 10.

A power running team with an above average QB could hang with Oregon.

Arizona State rushed 46 times for 200+ and dominated TOP, they lost by 10 points.

They are 3-3 right now.

Sounds kinda like what people were saying about Oklahoma in 03 when they were putting up 50 and 60 spots on everybody every single week it seemed. They were even labled "team of the decade" going into the Big 12 championship if I remember correctly.....

Then they ran into a decent defense and a awesome defense and scored I think 21 points in 2 games?

Not saying this years Oregon is 03 Choklahoma, I'm just saying everybody calm down, let's play this out.

Either let USC/Washington/Arizona knock them out the picture or let Boise have them. Wouldn't want to play them at all..to risky.

You are correct, however which team in the SEC would fall into this category? Your 03 team was awesome, no team in the SEC this year is anywhere near that good

Just saying, some of our teams could get embarrased by the likes of Oregon. Bash away.

If Oregon and Alabama play for the NCG, I have my money on Bama. Ohio St. showed what happens when Oregon plays the big fellas.

The season is long and Oregon may have peaked. On current form though I don't see any team beating them esp on a neutral field.

Oregon is ridiculous. And it makes no sense. They are not as talented as most of the Big 6 SEC teams, but they are beating the shite out of teams they are supposed to...unlike the SEC big boys. I do want to see them play a legit talented team first though. The USC game could spell trouble for them. USC is poorly coached but still supremely talented.

I heard all this same talk when Oklahoma had the best offense ever and dropped 60 points in 5 games, and they'd run right over Florida.

Then they scored 14 points.

Oregon is good. They may be the best in the nation. They might be able to beat every SEC team. Actually they can beat any SEC team, doesn't mean they will.

But people are going wayyyyyyy overboard.

Oregon on the road vs. a good team = loss for Oregon.

@ USCw will be a loss

@ Oregon state will be another loss

Two weeks ago, I said there would be no SEC team in the BCSNCG.

Everyone else might as well climb aboard.

Why is everyone so high and mighty on Oregon? Because they beat the shite out of an incredible UCLA team? Look at last year's Rose Bowl...that is what will happen if Oregon plays a premier SEC team this year. Same as it ever was.
