You are really struggling with our coaching hire. I was hoping just to fill my cup of tears with Rebel and Gator tears, but this was an unexpected treat. Thank you
Happy for you, Cajun man.
Enjoy.

I don't blame Ole Miss for saying no to doing that.
I don't blame Kiffin for asking to do that.
I certainly don't blame LSU for offering a top coach a job.
People need to grow up, it's a business, even with the players these days.

We are the most entertaining school in the sec.
Now that it is resolved. We can look forward to watching everyone's daddy Jay Johnson win some baseball games

This is exactly the level of idiocy I have come to expect from the Lane apologists.
Tulane is not a P4 program. Their coach had an opportunity to move to such a program. Being a professional that was on just about everyone's board, Sumrall spoke with is AD and parted on good terms.
That beech arse hoe, Lane, drug this on as long as possible and shat on the front porch on his way out the door before moving-in with the neighbor.
Moral equivocation denied.
Kind of scary. You would hope people like Kiffin are a very small percentage of the pop.

LSU fans don’t give a damn about Ole Piss or thier fans! This is about a school that has the ability to win Natties! LSU won Natties with the likes of O and Les Miles . We weren’t happy when Saban went to the pros but we got over it. Ole Piss needs to understand that this is all about the money and power to win.

Why does this matter?
LSU is a better job than Ole Miss, just like Florida is a better job than Tulane.
Tulane has a rare chance at a title, just like Ole Miss.
Sumrall can still ravage the entire Tulane roster/staff and set back the program for years, just like Kiffin.

Kiffin tried to do this.

Going from ole miss to lsu isnt a neighbor. Its going from a spec house to across the tracks to a gated community type difference.

Strawman. No one has blamed LSU for offering him a job.

Indeed. Some people simply don't know how to handle things like others in these kind of situations. Some drag it out and soak up the pub. Others just do it and move on.

This is amongst the most specious analogies. Kiffin leaving is more like leaving before he cheated to be with a woman he knows is better for him than his current girlfriend but offers to help his girlfriend get back on her feet. He didn’t have a lifelong contract at Ole Miss lol and there’s nothing immoral about taking another job.

The idea of letting him coach in the playoffs is absurd. And probably his only chance to as well.

Which begs the question, why threaten to burn the spec house to the ground cause they won't let you stay just one more month?
