At least they got his position right. Should have been a WR or TE all along. Had no business at RB.

I expect him to excel at Baylor under a better coaching staff.

Maybe if Butch wasn't lame AF Hurd wouldn't have mentally checked out. Sounds like Rhule is just a hell of a lot better at connecting with his players.

Has Rhule seen him run really fast on a treadmill yet? If not, he's missing out.

I think he'd be a great TE, but he wanted to be a RB when he got to Tennessee. He didn't have the change of heart until he started hanging out with his father during the off-season.

Baylor and Hurd were made for each other.

Hey, I wouldn't want to play for Lyle either, but calling Jalen Hurd a "leader" is like calling TT9 a "Man".

Or maybe he just takes football more seriously now that he is done building brick houses.

He's playing a different position so it's not really comparable. Hurd was pretty good catching out of the backfield. His problem was that Kamara was far better and those catches started to AK instead of him - one of the things DeBo actually did get right in the who Hurd-Kamara deal.

He always took football seriously, do you know a fricking thing about Jalen Hurd or are just fishing for upvotes by taking shots at Tennessee?

Baylor is more relevant in football, so he will likely do better there.

This. Plus Lyle even put in some I-formation packages to appease Hurd after the 2015 season. Dude is just a bitch that straight up quit the team.

I'm not taking shots at Tennessee, I'm taking shots at Butch and laughing at people who think its impossible for him to have become a leader at Baylor.

When posters that despise Lyle are halfway defending him itt, you're likely way off base in your assessment.
