LSU fans are truly incredible. In the worst way.

Surprised Marty took a break from double-fisting Lane long enough to report anything.

You’re right. He didn’t have to make any threats. Only a childish narcissist would react in that sort of way.
Thankfully we don’t know any of those.

You changed your favorite team because you can't beat a guy with one foot out of the door. That's got to be humiliating.

If you bothered to look, he had no integrity before he arrived at Ole Miss, but some people have to find this out the hard way.

You’re not going to sway any OM fans. It really doesn’t matter at this point. We won the coaching carousel this time around. That’s all that matters to me.

The entire football world has known this about Lane for years, this dizzying spin by Louisiana State is just embarrassing at this point.
History is not a subject taught at LSU.
Oh well... Kiffin is a good coach, and I expect him to have them ready to compete until, when they least expect it... they end up on the receiving end of it again.

But everything done since that trip to Baton Rouge was about protecting his image, not about what was best for his actual employer or the players he coached. He wanted to coach that playoff game so people couldn't bash him for quitting on a playoff team, and for the money.
I disagree. I think he just wanted to coach his team in the playoff.
I agree with everything else.

Everybody in Louisiana knows who this guy is. Stop acting like if he’d gone to Alabama you people wouldn’t be talking about the second coming of Satan. Have some honesty man.

Why do you feel like this is the secret key to opening the vault of wisdom? It’s not.
You have to realize LSU was doing the same, right? Why would LSU let lane continue at Ole Miss during the early signing period? They wouldn’t.
Lane was stringing everyone along with his hope that he could coach Ole Miss and LSU at the same time. Neither team would let that happen. The Ole Miss AD made it clear weeks ago he wouldn’t be coaching if he left, so this isn’t exactly shocking news.
This whole media narrative about let him finish what he started is more about clicks and money than it is about anything else.
Name the last P4 coach that left for another job and still coached his original team.

LSU agreed to let Lane coach the CFP while courting him.

If Ole Miss fans had a vote, would the majority vote to allow Lane to finish this season?
I mean for a program that's been in the desert for so long, why not take your best shot at a title? The coach is leaving either way, why not roll the dice at a natty?

Go check Twitter out.
Between the stuff on there, here and the internet as a whole, it's good others finally get a taste of how delusional those people are.
From "winning the day," to fake dogs, to stolen jerseys where a thief from southern miss walked into a large locker room and went directly to the QBs locker and stole the jersey while filming it without having to search for it, and more. They are small, strange little men.
I'm not sure what your problem is.
Do you have any idea how many people are going to watch LSU next year just because of how much they are hated?
