He’s been looking for G5 job for awhile to build his resume. I think he’ll do very well there and get a better opportunity in 3-4 years.

Best of luck to him, heck of a recruiter. Was hoping he would get the USA job.

Feldman also said we were getting Stoutland, so maybe he’ll be wrong here.

Over the last few offseasons Alabama has been very slow to announce hires officially. I think it has to do with the UA HR legal policies for criminal background checks being firmly followed before a job offer. Speaking from experience on the managerial and prospective employee side, these background checks can take awhile to clear so HR can officially make an offer. UA and the AD seem to have an agreement to not officially announce things until all the things that could be a legal problem if a guy goes Sandusky or Zach Smith on them are followed.

I haven’t the faintest idea why Marshall fired Doc. Hope Huff does well but seems like the expectations may be too high up there.

Rumor is that there was something that happened in the locker rooms at the end of the season that necessitated a parting of ways.

The governor of West Virginia apparently didn’t like Doc either.

This is one of the reasons why Odom was fired at Mizzou!

I think Doc was working on an expiring contract. Wouldn’t be surprised if the triggering event was him doing some “frick you pay me” at the AD in the locker room with the players around to back him up.

If he leaves, we’ll earned opportunity. I’d like him to stay but wish him the best unless they play Alabama.
