Man, you need to get out a little more. I do not get "mad" or my "jimmies" don't get rustled over a conversation on a message board.

So funny to me that these are actual responses from people. The lack of intelligence needed to post these things is humerous.

There is something wrong at UGA with the football players and staying within the proverbial lines. Richt seems to be a tight disciplinarian......but you see that UGA is averaging over five arrests a year and it is obvious that something is broken.

So tell us. You keep saying that. Tell us what is broken. Can you put your finger on it?

Neither can we.....unless it is what other posters have said. Athens PD has a zero tolerance policy. MOST of the arrests were for underage drinking, marijuana, driving without a license.....some charges were even dropped. (Crowell)

shite...5 of the 7 arrests were us turning ourselves in....HAHAHA. You can't make that stuff up. Seriously, wish we would handle this stuff internally. We would have only have 2 arrests reported and 1 would be a DUI.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Self-discipline could be emphasized before the arrests/citations. After-the-fact discipline does not seem to be working as a deterrent to the behaviors leading to arrests/citations.

Poor choices, a lack of self-discipline, and poor behavior are issues at most if not all football programs. Fans of every program would be wise to look at the Georgia situation with empathy, not criticism.

Nice. Another classic response.

I believe my posts have been very precise on answer questions put forth, and continuing to debate the topics at hand.

What exactly are jimmies, anyway? I'm not real sure if mine have ever been rustled!

I can't tell what is broken because I don't know the inner workings of the football team at UGA. When my kids acted up, I disciplined that child. If that child didn't get the message, I punished all of my children collectively. After a while, all of my children were making sure their siblings were staying within the lines. Maybe Richt needs to run the entire team until every one of them pukes. Don't hold an individual accountable for his actions. Hold the entire team accountable, as a unit, for each individuals actions.

True, and well put. I mean....people criticize that we should do something.....but, how do you know a kid is going to get into trouble before he does?

I know right. I think its some fancy internet lingo for being mad. It appears to be a way for people who cannot carry on intelligently to quickly respond on message boards.

I actually like this idea. BUT, how many recruits do you think would go to a school with this policy?

Well, that is not a part of the recruiting pitch.

I wasn;t responding directly to you. There are plenty of other posters in this thread who have said Athens PD is heads and shoulders stricter than anyone else. That's why i said "ya'll" dipshit

Agree completely. I think the reason people bring this up, is to try and "rustle our jimmies" because they are unsecure with their own team.

You get what you give. Like I said previously, when your delusions of other programs are turned towards your own program, you got rustled in this thread. it is what it is. I am sorry your myopic view of the world is distorted

Do I think that's a flawed system? Probably if those players get in trouble again which someone will.

Something something players don't respect Richt, I mean Jones.

That is the way of the Rant, after all!

But if we let our "jimmies" get rustled (that just sounds nasty! ) then we lose. That's all most of these threads are, anyway. To get people fired up.

Can't carry on with you anymore. You have a severe lack of intelligence with regard to the debate. My ears hurt from listening to your posts. Have a nice day.
