They must be complacent as well.

It's just not a black and white issue. I said this the other day, but this is the embodiment of the 3 little bears story of being right in the middle.
Zook, Shula, Chizik, Fulmer, etc all had times where they were BAD. Like, really really bad. Aside from one year in 2010, UGA hasn't been BAD. We've gone from average (8ish wins) to above average (9 or 10 wins) to really good (11 or 12 wins). We always seem to fluctuate between that range, but (again, aside from one season) we don't ever have those seasons of winning 3-5 games.

That is how Tuberville was. The powers that be could not make a change until they were given a reason. 2008 hapened and they paid him to go.

and we haven't really had that season, aside from once. I mean we're 2 games into this year and people want to fire people. That's the most asinine thing I've ever heard of. 2012 was one of the best seasons we've had recently and I'm sure people were acting the same way after we lost to SC. And hell, that game was in october.

The loudest the grumblings I can recall where after the UCF loss and the Boise St loss.

Calm down, man. I don't see most people shitting on UGA on this forum. They are just about the only team I like in the conference besides LSU. But they are a fascinating study. You'd think luck would have broken your way by now with Richt keeping them close for so long. No flame intended on my part.
My comments were meant as observation

Auburn is 8-5 versus Richt. It worse to be Charlie Brown or have a losing record against him?

Weak troll in a calm thread.
AU is 5-8, you window licker.
I bet a lot of UGA fans would trade the last 5 years with AU.

What's funny is I hear the same babble about Les, from UGA fans and other sec fans. Im glad you guys lost, a bunch of arrogant fans that havent won shite. Richt has never had kind words for us LSU fans and i hope he sticks around forever and you guys continue to underachieve with a state littered with more talent than most states in the country.

You clearly lack intelligence if you can't see the difference between level-headed UGA fans and those fringe idiots who run their mouths like 5th graders. I, and most UGA fans I know, are far from arrogant. If anything we are melancholy at best with the roller coaster of a program we have.
And for the record, I don't know any poster on the UGA board that has ever said anything about Les miles...not sure where that came from.

I'm sure they do, but it won't do any good. The university brass doesn't have championship athletics as a priority.

huh? Richt heaps high praise on every team we ever face. Are you really upset because he doesn't personally say something nice about the fans in the stands?

you know he has a winning record against your coach, right?

Just remember to be careful what you wish for. It is much more likely if you make a change that you get a Derek Mason instead of say an Urban Meyer.
Florida is a perfect example. Hired Zook, made it right with Urbs. When he had his health issue (excuse to leave a team he destroyed), Florida went with Boom. Everyone thought it was a great hire. Hasn't panned out just yet though.

He isn't going to make it to 2025, so I don't think LSU fans really care what UGA does with their coaching decision.

I don't want them to fire Richt, I just don't think we have the culture in our "front offices" conducive to winning Natty's in major sports.

Richt is like Coach Tub, IMO. I am a huge Coach Tub fan. Most years each will win some huge games. Each year both will crap the bed a weekend or two. Richt is a solid HC. He just can't seem to put that Championship winning run together. I have always thought that Bobo was a bit over-rated as an OC. With Pruitt there, their D should improve as time goes by. Will Pruitt be enough to put them over the top? Only time will tell.
