Coaches put in long hours, spend most of their time away from home, and are under an immense deal of pressure. To act like it is all fun and games is completely simple minded.

If beating the fricking shite out of Auburn is part of his job description, then he passes with flying colors.

Pressure?

Surgeons save people's lives for a living and only get paid about $250,000/year.

Yet UGA is having a real dilemma figuring out how to deal with their head football coach.

I would fire that fricker in a second.

With millions of dollars on the table, it's no longer a matter of "is he a good person".

He's taking UGA for a ride and enjoying every minute. I don't blame him.

I can certainly see why the rest of the SEC wants UGA to keep Richt and Mizzou to keep Pinkel, with good coaches these programs become much more dangerous.

No, he was an assistant on a team that did. He's won a SECC which is a big deal, imo. But he has an extremely inconsistent program.

It's crazy I know, any other seven figure ceo would get axed after a few shitty 10q reports.....

Not so in sports where nostalgia and emotions get in the face of reality.

Maybe in Lee county but everywhere else they make 1-2M/year. At least the ones I know (in Alabama).
