Plus, SEC officials were bending over backward not to penalize LSU for fear of mob violence. Bama wins by at least 35 with a fairly called game.

Yeah. It had nothing to do with LSU's defense being the only defense they played.

May would never admit that

Why would Mark May have a problem saying LSU played well on Defense? Why would he even care?

That was not Alabama’s A game and it wasn’t LSt8’s either. These teams tend to do that to each other. Yeah it was lopsided, but each team challenged the other in ways they haven’t been all year.

It's a testament to how talented that defense is that, for as well as we moved the ball on Saturday night, we only managed to score 29 points.

Should’ve been 31 if we had a competent kicker. Not taking anything away from LSU defense or Aranda though. They are legit.

You can see it in his throws. He’s high or over leading which he wasn’t doing before the injury. Started in the Mizzou game. His accuracy is off some since the initial injury.

Edit: he can’t plant as forcefully. It’s like he’s throwing off his back foot.

A, B or C game, that was a straight up mud stomping.

Respect.

I believe everybody came to play except Tua.

Got downvoted big time for daring to say that.

If Tua played like we know he can, we would have won 50-0.

well LSU played their D game and lost......

what the frick does it matter.

Less than 200 yards of offense isn't "playing their D game", it's getting owned.

I agree with this. However LSU is really overrated. UM is terrible. AU is barely average. CU and OU will be able to press Bama's D.

And LSU brought our A game?

It's a night game, in your house, with your fans fired up, you're #3 hosting #1, you have the prime time opportunity to prove you belong in the CFP hunt.

How could you not bring your A game when your coach has done nothing but parrot "We Comin" every chance he gets?

Yeah. It had nothing to do with LSU's defense being the only defense they played.

It had everything to do with LSU's defense. LSU has a really good D and it showed when they were able to trim 2-3 scores off Bama's usual offensive production.

Bama's D on the other hand, stepped up for the first time this season. They've come together and improved during the bye week with better communication and execution.
