Well, he's on an NFL roster. You know, the thing that Ben Tate isn't.

Ahh, yes. The NFL ceiling for Bammer QBs.

Because they play the same position and joined the NFL in the same year? If not, what an illogically stupid statement.

Good point - a better comparison would be Ben Tate, a 2nd round pick in 2010 and Mark Ingram, a 1st round pick in 2011.

Same 4.4 ypc. Except one had bad knees and played for garbage teams?

You should let all the NFL GMs know that. He'll probably be on a playoff roster.

Right because NFL GM's want 28 year old injury proned RB's on their rosters. Did you fall out of the stupid tree and hit every branch going down?

So the whole "HE PLAYED FOR THE BROWNS THOUGH" thing isn't actually a thing at all, then?

My guess is the whole he averaged 3.9 YPC his last 3 years (2012-2014) in the NFL is the reason nobody wants him. Since that's, you know, shitty.

Mark Ingram has averaged 4.7 YPC his last 4 years (2012-2016), FYI. Probably why he is still a starting running back in the NFL. Just my guess.

They have the same career ypc average. Spin it all you want, both stilll have a 4.4ypc. Injuries derailed Tate's career causing his ypc to slip. Tate played in run focused offenses and with shitty QBs.
Ingram has survived in a pass happy offense alongside Drew Brees for years. Ingram has 850 yards right now and y'all act like he is over 1300 at this point.
I'm glad Mark Ingram turned his NFL career around. At one point, it was his last contract year, and the organization was ready to cut him...

Thank God Lamar Jackson won the heisman huh? Mark Ingram no longer has to be the butt of all Heisman jokes.

You could forgive him for that but not for quitting on his team like he did in 2009.

He's 15th in the league in rush yards and 3rd in YPC.

That's a pretty decent year. I don't think anyone is holding him up for MVP.

Had a key first down catch and run on that final, game-winning drive. Next.

Show us proof they were gonna cut him or is this just one of your made up points?
