If he came back his senior year he would have help at the rb position. Mike Davis will be a junior and likely to start next year so his carries would be a career low but I really hope latti never wears a carolina uniform again...he has done enough, now go get paid!
Davis is going to be Sophmore... And with Wilds (RS Soph), Davis (true Soph), Carson (RS Soph)and Salley (RS Freshman) already in house an one, maybe two, incoming freshman I think we're going to be fine at the running back spot next year.
As for Marcus, I think that whatever he decides to do is perfectly justified. If he wanted to come back next year and just redshirt, rehab and never touch the field I would be fine with that. If he wanted to go into this draft and rehab then take the NFL by storm, he would have all of our support.

South Carolina took NO pressure off his volume of carries. I see RB's ruined too often just because they get so many carries and their bodies can't last.
Too bad there's very little truth to any of that...

He's done more than enough at/for South Carolina. Go get paid Lattimore.

You are full of shite, Lattimore had an extremly light load heading up to the UT game and the injury. Both times he got injured were freak accidents and had nothing to do with number of carries.
This isn't Xbox you dumb frick. He was getting over 15 carries a game this year after coming back from getting a bad knee injury. Most injuries are "freak" to some degree, but wear and tear on your legs as the season goes by contributes in a number of ways to increasing your likelyhood.
I hope he does well in the pros, but some of the best internet in the history of the www was when Cockytalkers were ready to give him their knees... that was just fantastic stuff...

Lattimore:
2010: 14 gms 249 carries, 17.8 carries per game
2011: 7 gms 163 carries, 23.3 carries per game
2012: 9 gams 143 carries, 15.9 carries per game
total: 30 games, 555 carries, 18.5 carries per game
Gillislee:
2012: 12 gms 235 carries, 19.6 carries per game
LOL. Facts suck. Its much better to just blame Spurrier for Latts problems. Please do not confuse them with information..

Good luck to Latt, but I was really looking forward to Lacy being the first RB off of the board.
Huh?
and Gio Bernard or Stepfan Taylor will go above Lacy

No. Next year is not an option. If he comes back his senior year it will be in 2014 and mike davis will be a junior

If he goes I understand and best of luck to him. However, until I hear it from him or the university I won't even take it as fact. Right now this is still stemming from an interview Phil Kornblut did with a RB prospect, David Williams, in which Williams told Phil that the coaches told him that they didn't expect Marcus to be back next year.
Lattimore did great things for us, if he goes I hope he gets a good deal.

Someone will take a chance on him late rounds, could be a big time sleeper.

I know everyone has a source close to the situation, but I work with a guy who knows Lattimore and his parents both personally, and he said that Spurrier advised Lattimore to enter the draft, and that Lattimore has already hired an agent. He's gone.
Best of luck to my favorite Gamecock of all time.

He also had quite a few catches each game and most were short throws to get him in space. Those added to his touches and wear and tear fwiw....
...they were good plays and a good use of his talents fwiw2...
