Didn't get to see the injury in real time but watched the YouTube video. Prayers going out for him an his recovery. I hate to see that happen to any player. I hope he has a good recovery and will still have a shot at the NFL. If not then I hope that he does succeed in whatever path he goes.

The worse part about the injury is it happen to a great player and great guy. The second worse part is now he may come back to the SEC next year and we got to play him.
Praying for a full recovery, so he can have the career we all expect him to have in the NFL.

I prayed a good prayer to God on his behalf. Such a classy kid, team player, and has faced so much already, he deserves better than this. I pray God has his cross to bear measured to the man.

I'm with you, DrTyger. Even as a rival fan - such things don't matter today, not with a young man's health, professional future and livelihood in the balance - to see this kind of injury to such an incredible athletic talent was and is heartbreaking. I hope and pray (not necessarily in that order) that he is able to work his way back to a full recovery, both from the physical and mental aspects of an injury like this.
We tend to get a bit carried away as fans, especially when things don't always go the way we want them to on game days, but let today serve as a reminder of just what these young men risk when they choose to play this game. On signing day every one of them is choosing to take the risk that they, too, could have a moment in time on the FB field like Marcus Lattimore did. A day like today, perhaps.
The fact that they choose to play this game for an education, the promise of an NFL future for a select few and the fans enjoyment and entertainment shouldn't lessen our understanding and appreciation for the risk they are taking to do so. In the end, it's "just a game" ... except like today was for Marcus Lattimore when it literally becomes life changing and possibly career ending.
May God bless and comfort ML and his family.

Such a brutal hit. It makes me sick to my stomach that this happened to ML again. Lattimore is as classy and upstanding as they come.
I feel so bad for him to have to go through this type of injury again. Praying he has a speedy recovery and that he can continue his dream to play in the NFL.

He is a great running back. I hate to see a player go down like that.
Godspeed to him and his family.

Watched him from afar when we were in the other conference. I think he is the best back currently playing CFB. Hope he can come back and be a superstar in the NFL.
I'm most impressed with his off field stewardship by reaching out to other players who have had the same (first) injury. The man is pure class.

Marcus Lattimore sounds like the kind of young man you want your son to end up emulating. As bad as it sounds, here's hoping that he only badly broke his calf and it is repairable... but I fear the worst.
He will be a success in life, no matter what the result of this injury. Maybe just not quite the way he originally planned. It's hard to keep a good man down, because they always keep fighting back. Keep fighting, #21.

On behalf of Gamecock Nation, thanks for all the well wishes. Marcus is going to need them. This one hurts badly for all Gamecocks.

WHY DO THEY KEEP REPLAYING THAT?????? I hate to see that happen to such a talent. Hopefully he can make a recovery.
