The message was stop going out and partying and cut the drinking. He did neither

This is stupid. Not many 23 year old millionaire NFL players who don't go out and have a good time on a BYE WEEK.

Unless he was embarrassing in the videos, this is just dumb

Stipulations he probably agreed to last year

The Cleveland Browns are the biggest joke in sports.

It's almost like they want to fail.

I’m not saying what he did was “wrong”. Lord knows I love tying one on at the bar with friends. However, a couple things about this would really piss me off if I was the coach.

1. He finally has a chance to prove himself as a starter and instead of taking a weekend off of partying to prepare more or rest, he did this. This is his chance and he’s not really taking it seriously or as seriously as you’d hope for a guy that is far from proven in this league and that you’d want to distance himself as a leader of your team.
2. He had an agreement AFTER REHAB FOR ALCOHOL to cut out the partying and drinking. He went back on his word. That shows immaturity and lack of self-control.

Do some really stupid things at work, get a second chance from your boss, agree to not do said stupid things again, and then turn around and do them.

When you get your internet turned back on, come back here and tell us how it worked out for you and more specifically, tell us how you like your new job.

It really is a simple concept. When you agree to behave a certain way, keep your word - particularly if you've got a questionable past.
