I can't believe the people of the Rant mention Johnny Manziel every freaking day!

This dude will be the biggest Bust in the history of college football. Stay tune to the 2013 season!

Not too surprising. He almost wasn't our starter last year.
he hates College Station and he hates having to call himself an "Aggie."

Poor kid is just lashing out because of his lame surroundings. It's probably the cheerleaders that's the problem.

A&M initially suspended Manziel for the 2012 season following his arrest in College Station’s Northgate bar district last summer, a source with knowledge of the situation told SportsDay. Manziel, entering his freshman season after sitting out the 2011 season as a redshirt, would have felt it was necessary to transfer if the suspension wasn’t overturned on appeal, according to the source.

Pretty sure the unnamed source is Captain fricking Obvious. He was going to be suspended so he looked at transferring. Non-story..

But but but... you DONT UNDERSTAND! SOMETHING ALMOST HAPPENED BUT DIDN'T! You just don't get modern sport journalism, man. I bet you didn't understand what was such a big deal about the Patriots ALMOST taking Vince Young.

He threatened to transfer and then the suspension was lifted.

Sumilin has no control over his program, the players are running the ship.

Congrats aggy on being a less successful version of Chizik's Auburn.

Manziel was never suspended. The entire premise of the article is a lie or bullshite made up by a cited "unnamed source"

Tell me, is there any school in the SEC that would suspend a player FOR AN ENTIRE SEASON because he got in a fight and had a fake ID? No, its bullshite on its face.

It MAY be true that Manziel contemplated transferring because it appeared he wouldn't be the starter and another young player was ahead of him, but the ridiculous claim that he was ever suspended for the season is bogus and thus brings disrepute on the entire BS "article"

Manziels "suspension" was lifted on "appeal?" Appeal to who? The coaches? Was it a school suspension? And yet there was no record or mention of this ever despite A&M being public and football types snooping all the time? Meanwhile at the same time Howard Matthews and Stephen Jenkins DID get suspended by Sumlin for one game. Did they "appeal?" I guess they should have...

I'm shocked people are falling for this troll. There is zero chance that this would have gone unreported last summer/fall.
