I'm glad he's willing to acknowledge Bama owns Atlanta

You don’t understand the state of Georgia. Atlanta is UGA’s home city. Athens is just where the college is located.

It’s been ten years since bama has played in Athens. Georgia has been to Tuscaloosa 2x in the last 4 seasons. 2020 and 2024.

7 of the last 10 games have been played in UGA’s home state. 2 of the 10 in Alabama.

I dare say it is a ho.e game for UF and Alabama fans as they played in the first one and bought all the seat licenses.....

That said, we struggle in that building, not sure if it is expectation of playing in ATL or what.

True. But Georgia has never had a stretch where they won 9 out of the last 10 games in the series like Alabama currently has.

True, but they have 2 titles since Bama last won it all.

But we did beat LSU and Tennessee that year. Wanna know who lost to them?

And since you brought it up...Alabama played 4 away games in 2021.
And in 2018.
And in 2017.
And in 2016.
And in 2015.
Should I dig further?

And ftr? Alabama beat a 5 loss Texas team by one point in 2022, a 7 loss Texas A&M by 4 points.
I guess more to the point in Alabama's last National Championship season (Normal season) Alabama played 4 away games and beat texas A&M by 8 points and Mississippi State by 7 points.
So, what was your point, exactly?

Interesting. Did anyone care to ask his thoughts about Ole Miss having to go to Athens 2 out of the last 3 seasons?

Georgia's SOS in the East was pathetic, they alone are afforded an inordinate number of major games within their home state, and Kirby is 1-6 vs Alabama.

Yes, as we saunter through literal buildings built to house football trophies and denote related accomplishments, we shed tears because we're not more like Georgia.

I mean we play GT in our home state. Doesn't Alabama play Auburn in their home state? We also had a very good record verses SEC West team. I mean, we weren't Alabama, no doubt, and the east was easier than the west, but you act like we chose which division to be in. And, in 2021 and 2022 we won a National Championship playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. Now that there is no West or East what was Alabama's excuse the last 3 years? Isn't your argument that the reason we won was because we played in the "easy" east? We won the SEC last season with one of the toughest schedules in the country and it was definitely tougher than Alabama's. I think it's time for you to move the goal posts.

Has UGA played Aggie at College station since Aggie joined the SEC 13 years ago?

What would it matter? Irrelevant team. Weak home stadium. Not like Georgia has skipped out on playing some powerhouse program at their intimidating home stadium.

Away games are usually awesome. I fell in love with football in the corner endzone of Davis-Wade Stadium when I was a little tike. Right down there at field level it was different than a mile (it seemed that way to a kid) from the field at Bryant-Denny or Legion Field.

I will age myself, but I am probably one of the few here who watched #16 Alabama beat #20 Georgia in Stegman Coliseum. When is the last time Alabama and Georgia faced each other in basketball when both were top 20?

Well they would’ve played if Bama won their division. But they didnt bc Bama lost 2 games. And Georgia beat the 2 teams Bama lost to by multiple scores. So one might say Bama didn’t have to play Georgia that year bc they couldn’t beat the teams Georgia spanked lol

Bama fans have seen so many great teams and still are on here making excuses and justifications YEARS after these seasons have concluded. It’s almost as if their fans are utterly retarded and devoid of reason or something.
