When you have all the talent he had they should've been better. LSU hasn't had a QB in a decade and we haven't had a season near that bad.

Dude, Jimbo was 5-6 when he bolted lasted year and his mighty Noles scored 3 points against Boston College last year in a 35-3 loss. The suckage started under his watch.

Beay Clempson this weekend and we'll forgive Jimbo. But from where I sit, he took arguably the best program of the last 25 years and augered it into the sandy Florida soil.

I wouldn't call them the best program of the last 25 years. Miami, Nebraska, USCw, Florida, and Alabama all have arguments.

I think what it means is he was bailing a sinking ship. All of Bowden's players were now gone.

Hence my usage of the word "arguably." No offense, but UF doesn't belong in the argument. FSU has 3 national titles.

My understanding is, he left because he wanted upgrades to their facilities, and his request were not being met.

Jimbo had bad poor OL play at FSU the last couple years and that carried over. I’m surprised that FSU didn’t get a better coach unless it’s true that FSU only wanted a black coach. Then it’s slim pickings...
