Man, there are some broken people on this board.

That Alabama team was simply SICK! If it had been someone else who won the natty they’d be on here bragging up and down.
Some of you people need to let it go. Bama faced a very good team but they had so many weapons along with a beast at QB and a badass OL that nobody was going to beat that team.
A lot of the same people ripping on Bama are the same people who thought OSU was going to win. Ohio State is legit but Bama was simply too much. I have not been around for 75 years but I personally think that was the best Alabama team I have seen in my lifetime.

They certainly played like the best 'Bama team ever in that title game. They hit the ground running against Mizzou and never slowed down once this season. The efficiency of this 2020 squad was just an amazing thing to see week in and week out.
As for the trolls, you underestimate the deep rooted insecurities that plague a lot of fanbases in the SEC. Especially those who are desperate to prove they belong in the same conversation as 'Bama and claim to be their equal/rival when the history, both recent and not-so-recent, overwhelmingly proves otherwise.
Typing this has made me realize how infrequent actual football discussion is on this board. Most of the time it's just a pissing contest. Nice post!

I personally only care about the title. “Best team” is just an opinion and not an actual award.

Not taking anything away from Bama at all but I do think we would all be better off if they played in the NFL or CFL where they could face actual competition.
College football coaches are no match for Saban and other SEC teams can't compete with Bamas player salaries without stealing from children with cancer.
Its time for the gumps to take that next step and compete at the highest level of football.

I tell you this; Does Alabama cheat getting players? Yea, to a degree. But truth is, they don’t have to cheat as much because top recruits want to play for Alabama and Saban because they are looking at a Natty!
LSU fans will downvote this because most my family is from Louisiana and I have heard of all the money paid for players. It happens everywhere to a degree but don’t act like it doesn’t happen there on a larger scale.
I spent enough time in Baton Rouge to remember Richard Condon (If he is still doing radio) to remember how it was done.
LSU is a bigtime program and I will never argue that. But these monsters that go to Alabama (90%) are going there because they win and winning at that level brings attention to ones self.

absolutely. In fact, had Ohio State won the game, if any Alabama fan had suggested it had anything to do with covid or injuries the goofy LSU fans would have mocked that too. And it is mostly LSU fans with some Auburn fans joining them. Those are the 2 fan bases that are always so bent about Alabama's success. I know it's jealousy and I know they're trolling because they're fk'n miserable that Alabama won it again.
It really doesn't matter much to me because I'm still elated about the season and the game.
