Actually....no. There are several Mizzou sports forums. And many Mizzou posters frequent those, as well.This site is gaining in posters from Mizzou, due to it's format and the opportunity to chat with other fan bases.

That's what makes the rant great.....most of the time. One can say just about anything within reason here without fear of being banned. I enjoy the freedom to banter back and forth as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Usually the admin will step in at that time.

Mizzou fans haven't been on the Rant because you all weren't interested in talking about football for the longest time. It was all about how piss weak our previous conference was and acting as if we were basically kansas in football. We've started showing up here now that it seems like you'll actually engage us in conversation.

RockMNation regularly gets between 500-1000 posts in any given day, while tigerboard probably gets about half-that, but is mostly trolling.
Mizzou is a journalism school and the students and alumni can crap out 600 word posts/articles/flamebait in no time flat.

I agree with you, and I'm a huge Tiger fan.
Just take a break. Also all of the excessive trash talk it kinda ridiculous.
Mizzou is a better program than they were last year. They are often not as good as they have been so far this year. So, some years worse than this are coming. No reason to rile everyone up right now

I can't help but like Mizzou. Almost everyone thought they wouldn't do much this year but they've been incredible so far.

I have 40 thousand posts on tigerboard in 6 years but I am a loser. I didn't even know about this forum until 2 or 3 months back. Go Tigers!

Arky and SC came into the conference 22 years ago all full of piss and vinegar. Their fans were atrocious like Mizzou's are right now.
Hopefully, they'll come to realize they're in a conference instead of a prison. The Big 12 apparently damages fan bases.
In the SEC we're all of a kindred spirit about competition. We rag each other but we don't attack like I've seen many Mizzou posters over the past few days. That's uncalled for.

Not entirely true. The first waves of Mizzou fans were very polite and added to a lot of conversations. The rant processes most if them and spit them out in short order. Even those of us that have stayed dont attempt to post like this is a real place after the shitfest that was Mizzou fandom on the rant until just recently.
The newer waves have heard the previous stories, and a good portion of them are well prepared for the rant.
Pretending like the rant is a place for sports discussion for everyone and that there isn't a pretty big base of shite talkers and trolls isn't accurate at all, and I think everyone knows it.

I was the first. I remember it differently. Almost every new Mizzou poster arrived and immediately started a "Why We Belong in the SEC Civil War" thread.

I remember those. I called it "Phase 2."
It usually came after phase 1, interjecting in a few threads and being told Mizzou wasn't southern if I remember correctly.
