Why is 3 a "lock"? Who did you hear that from? Mac Crawford?

You also managed only 64 vs. Arkansas to Arkansas' 84.

See, I can plug in numbers too...

And the offense sucked during that 3 game stretch mostly due to Todd's poor play. Against UT we ran 83 so the offense has the potential.

You guys really have no clue...

Malzahn will be Auburn's OC for 2010 and most likely 2011... count it.

Anyone care to wager on 2010?

Scary enough for you to post in this thread 8 times?... I'm just sayin, if you aren't scared you gotta funny way of showing it.

But in all seriousness... he's taken one of college's worst offenses in 2008 and turned them into one of the top 15, and he's done it with basically the same personnel... Gus Malzahn is one of the top 5 to 10 OCs in college right now.

signed,

The Tulsa Hurricane

His offense is not rocket science...actually its pretty simple...

However, I did see him in the AU game saying "Run the same play" multiple times...so that ought to make it easy

I like Malzahn...have for years. His O will work a lot better with a QB...Evidently, AU can't get a Paul Smith on campus

Oddly they aren't banking on a Smith-like kid and hoping Rollison isn't another Kodi Burns.

We'll see.

No one's offense is rocket science... this is football not nuclear physics.

I fully expect to get better QB play next season... I also think we'll see a much more mobile QB which will add another dimension to his offense.

Sao... you live in Texas, right? You know the type of high school talent is in that state. Tyrik is a QB, PERIOD. He's not an athlete trying to play QB, like Burns.

Rollison won the 4A DII state Championship last season while completing 70% of his passes and scoring 60+ in the state championship game.... the kid can flat out PLAY.

Kodi's problem coming out of highschool was his accuracy, it was thought at the time that with proper technique coaching he could overcome this as he has a lot of upside in the arm strength department. It turns out this was in correct.

Tyrik came out of highschool with good accuracy numbers and a lot of upside but his problem was grades it was not clear that he'd graduate and make it on campus so some top schools cooled on him this allowed AU to come in and sell well to him. He may get in the pocket and panic or not pan out like McElroy has this season but he has the potential already.

I've seen TR play at SS twice...he can make plays. His best asset to me are his feet which he seemed to favor. I look forward to seeing if he can stay patient and make the necessary reads and plays with his arm.

OT but are you a Lobo fan? If yes, can you even cheer for TR lol? Gilmer Buckeye here btw...

Don't take my quotes out of context...You can be a Leach and have 10 plays on a scratch pad, or Nutt with his 4 pass routes...Hell, Petrino with his Bible...

Petrino's O much harder to pick up than Malzahn's....That's the standard for a "Rocket Science" offense...Not only for skill positions but for O-line with the 30 protection schemes and flipping of the line...

FWIW...Malzahn has had the most success in his carrer with a pure passer...But who is this moblie QB you speak of? Oh...the RS Freshman...Good Luck

Are you God? Malzahn would be stupid not to take a head coaching job now...The world will end in 2012...he might not get his shot if he waits around...

You know...God doesn't like it when you pass up on opportunities provided by him

Yeah, but you are a dumbass (as evidenced by your completely stupid predictions thus far) and I am not.

So, your opinion is practically worthless. In fact considering how you are almost always wrong, your opinion actually yields validity to the oposing viewpoint.

I don't know...dumbass is strong with you...it's just your upbringing though...you can't really help that

I haven't missed on anything yet...So your post is worthless

I did predict an AU arse whooping...so looks like I'm doing pretty good

I hear ya.... no, i'm no Lobo. Longview owned sulphur springs last year anyway...

We'll see what TR has come spring... he was neck&neck with Caudle (the current #2) coming out of fall camp for the #2 QB spot. Most people assume Rollison wins the job, but Caudle's no slouch, IMO.
