Hand him a trophy and print the shirts. We're doomed fellas.

I can safely say it looks like both teams will take more than seven each next year as it looks to be a very top heavy and strong class top to bottom for in state kids.
Auburn will likely struggle in-state for the 2016 class. Luckily, We will be able to pluck kids from South Florida and Georgia to even out the misses from Alabama.

Anfernee Jennings is proof a bammer bump does exist. the kid was like a 2 or 3 star until commiting to bammer. just forget that nobody else really wanted him

You could say the same for 2016 Auburn commit Quinnen Williams.

Just goes to show that from a statistical standpoint, you can make the rankings say whatever you want them to say. If you just take the Rivals top ten, the state of Texas was won by...Alabama.

I'll take 4 of the top 6 in the 247 composite and call it a loss every year.

I'll take getting the majority of the top 5 or so and getting elite prospects from across the region and country.

Bingo. Especially when we take two of the top 5 in Texas. Can we call it a loss in Alabama and a win in Texas? Works for me.

Lots of legacy kids that are elite, as well kids from traditional Alabama pipelines. But Auburn has always built a great roster by grabbing some great prospects from Georgia and Florida, along with a few from Alabama.

When there's only 1-5* & 11-4*'s in the state you don't wanna go too deep on instate talent you hafta go elsewhere...

i think auburn will do okay in the 2016 class. marlon Davidson and john Broussard's crystal balls are overwhelmingly in favor of auburn. those are 2 of the top 4 players in state as things stand now

Broussard will sign with Auburn. Davidson is far from a lock for AU.

If we could land TaDarryl Marshall, Malik Miller, John Broussard, Marlon Davidson, Lyndell Wilson and call it a day, I would be more than satisfied with what we did in the state of Alabama.

That being said, the Auburn staff has their work cut out for them.

If we are talking Crystal Ball, Davidson to AU means Wilson to Alabama.

Alabama needs a fullback. Miller or Nation fits that.

Alabama has offered Marshall, likely as an athlete. But he stated he would get a shot at QB. Still think he signs with Georgia Tech.

It wouldn't shock me if Auburn offered TaDaryll Marshall as a quarterback. The staff promised Jason Smith a shot out of high-school and junior college, but everyone maintains that he will definitely end up at wide receiver. Maybe that selling point could give us a better chance.
