If he singled out the Dolphins they must have told him theyd take him if _____ happened, and they obviously didnt.

The reporter conveniently left out the part where Jim said Miami led them to believe that they were going to take Mallett all the way up until the draft and that's why they were mad. Probably not the first or last NFL team to do that but it makes more sense when you hear that part of what he said first.
