Gus would have screwed him up, and NFL scouts would not have taken him seriously if he were running Malzahn’s system. They said as much when Stidham was coming out, that Malzahn’s QBs have a steeper learning curve adjusting to NFL schemes.

He's been at Liberty under Freeze the last two years.
Someone needs to get Freeze for next year. The man can coach and win. Yeah he cheated at Ole Miss, but he can still coach.

And people act surprised we Sh%$ canned the bus.
He only played Willis during trash time, a lot of fans expressed their desire to see Willis start over Stidham. He also turned down another Heisman winning QB in Lamar Jackson in favor of wash out Tyler Queen.

Real question is why does LSU have O as a coach when Freeze is coaching at Liberty?

I do agree with you about that.
Outside of lucking into Marshall, Willis and Stidham were the only 2 QBs he recruited during his 7 years at AU. Both of those he ruined during their years at Auburn. Not only could he not recruit them, he couldn't coach them up if he lucked into a good QB.

My son plays wr at Liberty and loves Malik and Freeze. They know Freeze won’t be there long. He’s really a great coach and the players love him.
