This. Saban left DeBoer a bunch of entitled and disrespectful guys. Said guys were throwing helmets after Michigan loss and part of the reason he retired. DeBoer better get control of this situation, even if it costs him the playoffs. (Although Saban didn’t get control in his first year and it took his 2008 recruiting class and letting guys go after 2007 to get full control).

A Bama loss is better for traffic on this site than an LSU win. They really need to rename it to Elephant Droppings.

Uhhh..Saban was part of the problem the last 2 years. He lost control of the discipline on the team last year and left DeBoer to clean up his mess. He essentially said it was part of why he retired.

Unfortunately I think this is a reflection of the NIL more than DeBoer losing control. It's both, but now you've got players making money and thinking about themselves more than the team. Sending your substitute back to the sideline then losing your cool and causing a penalty would have you benched and running until you vomit at the next practice, but will coaches even do that anymore?

Should be benched until he can demonstrate he is a leader, starting with listening to your coaches.
Coaches that tolerate that will get exactly what they deserve.

You are aware that most subsitutions aren't to give players rest, but because their backup/replacement has a skillset that's either equal or superior on the play due to the matchup/down and distance?
Ex: That 340 lb 0 tech isn't being taken out on 3rd and long to give him a rest. It's because his fatass is redundant on passing downs, so instead you put in someone that's a legitimate threat as an interior pass rusher

He should have been kicked off the field. Grabbing a players facemask and slamming his head into the ground. And with the ref right there and didn't get a penalty. Hate BK all you want but he would absolutely take him off the field and benched his arse.
