I think Moore did a great job on the apology, and I have no room to judge.

In high school, I kicked a goal line pylon about 30 feet out of frustration, and the ref (back judge I guess) laughed at me and asked me why I would do that. I then realized that same ref was a former college head coach in the old Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference, treating me with kid gloves.

I felt ashamed and hung my head in shame and apologized to him. He was a great guy.

His agent told him to get ahead of it ASAP to keep his draft stock from falling any further.

Still needs to be sent packing imo.

I’d bet a year’s salary that he didn’t write it and probably didn’t even read it before it was released.

but then the players release a statement that completely admits fault and issues an apology

Serious question and please answer honestly.

Do you REALLY believe he wrote that or even had a say in what was written?

That’s a PR statement and he may not have any idea it was even released.

Saban would have yanked him out and chewed his arse out for that display.

that wouldn't have happened under saban. I was shocked at the amount of jawing and taunting the bama team did. They should have been flagged a half dozen times for taunting. That is one thing I always respected about bama teams under saban. They made a play, acted like that is what they were supposed to do, and lined back up.

The worst part about your actions is you did all of this as the equipment manager. Just piss poor behavior.

I don't give a shite what he released. His arse needs to sit out the Carolina game IMO. I understand that Bama has an accountability group, that are the upperclassman players. They decide what or if anything happens to a player that has a disciplinary problem on and off the field. So I'm guessing that his teammates will say all is good.
