The obvious answer is Malachi.

Dupree will but that's more of an indictment on speedy than praise for Chi.

Dupre because he isn't an off field liability, but both were incredibly underwhelming in their careers considering they were consensus top 15 players.

What are the current projections for both?

Speedy may have been drafted if there were no character concerns, I'd say he has a less than 10% chance of being drafted, he's just not that good.

Is there any position more overrated than a "5 star Wr" from LA. It seems they pump out a "top 25" player at that position every recruiting cycle for the last 15 years.

How many of those guys have been truly 5 stars. 1 maybe 2 out of 15 lol.

Going back all the way to Early Doucet. My favorite busts were Travon Reed and the DeAngelo Benton.

How people still believe in recruiting rankings is mind boggling.

Is this a serious question? Dupre will be a 2nd-3rd rounder. Noil's potheaded arse will not get drafted. Probably the easiest question I have ever seen on this board.

LA. hasnt had that many 5 star Wr's. 15 is pushing it . Dupree showed what could have been in his final game. Not his fault LSu's QB play sucked his whole career. j. Landry(5 star) and Odell B. turned out pretty well. I thought Doucet did alright. I wouldnt focus on Louisiana with 5 star WR bust alot of football 5 star Wr's end up not being very good. It all depends on the system they are in in college. Do Agree on Noil and T. Reed though

There have also been some pretty damned good ones ( OBJ comes to mind) and some that flew under the radar a bit but proved pretty solid at other schools.

Well I am thinking Speedy will be on the Farm at Angola by the end of March so probably Malachi.

OBJ was not a 5 star coming out of high school.

Jarvis Landry, Michael Clayton, and Reuben Randle would beg to differ. Buster Davis wasn't a great pro, but was a fantastic college receiver who played well enough to be a first rounder. A little guy by the name of Reggie Wayne.

Louisiana has churned out it's fair share of highly-rated receivers who have lived up to their billing.

Dupree struggled with high-pointing, getting off a jam, and frankly, anything that got a little too physical for his comfort. He's going to have a great combine, but when scouts watch his film, they're just going to be left with questions.

I wouldn't draft him before round 5.

Speedy's not getting drafted. He was suspended way too many times for weed, and when he played he just wasn't that good.
