It’s been the worst kept secret for almost a month that Beard and Indiana have been talking. It’s not like we thought we were going to keep him for years and years.

It is funny that he turned down Arkansas to stay with us last year though

He was never offered anything to turn down, once Tyson stepped in that he could get Cal that was the end of any talks with Beard.

This won't be hard to accomplish.

He’s always welcome to come home. We have a spot that is about to open up.

He needs to go somewhere so we can move on from McMahon. I honestly believe the only reason they haven't fired McMahon is because there would be a ton of pressure on Woodward to re-hire Wade, and there are people in our administration who don't want him back.

LSU needs to start looking for McMahon's eventual replacement. My first choice would be Pitino's son who has a pretty good resume. I am not a supporter of Wade; his arrogance and recklessness brought about his demise.

That’s a point in his favor at IU.

He demanded excellence and investments into certain things, which is a foreign concept to our AD when it comes to MBB. He will do the same thing at his next stop, and will kill it there, whether it's Texas or Ole Miss or somewhere else. I just hope we can hire another winner next time, but I would be absolutely shocked if it was Wade.

Dip shite Texas goes all aboard the woke train and fires Beard before the investigation even plays out and he's acquitted of all charges. fricking figs.

He wasn’t acquitted. She got paid to shut it all down.

No shite? Provide the link that states that.

The only thing we can go by are the official court docs that state the DA chose not to go further with prosecution because it couldn't be proven he did anything.

Look, I'm not saying he didn't do anything, but FFS let the thing play out before you make a move. Texas let the sky screamers influence their decision to fire him instead of allowing the court of law to convict or acquit him.

False. I'm not a sky screamer and I thought he had to go.. unfortunately too as he probably would have stayed at Texas a long time, and he is a good enough coach to win a NC.. so yeah it sucks..

If CDC knew the whole story.. that most definitely plays a role in the decision making whether it is public info or not..

Beard has had a better year at Ole Miss with much less talent than Cal
has had at Arkansas. Beard, with Cal’s roster at Arkansas, would be a top 10 team. Beard also beat Cal straight up in Fayetteville. And you’re flexing because you hired Cal over Beard? Are you slow?
