I watched some of the game yesterday and was like no wonder we beat them they (LSU) can't even get on base. Game was horrible. And then your midget coach throws a player under the bus WTF

Steve Kiffen never has thrown a player under the bus. Hey that's my point! He may be a douche in his personal life but he will blame himself. But some coaches are above that right. LSU is the poster child

He fits right in with LSU. I heard a fan last night say " Suck it up that's why you got a helmet for" after an LSU player got beaned in the helmet with a 90 mph pitch. I wanted to hit him with a 90mph fastball. Well, it will probably only be but 75 but what a douche!

But I disagree with the OP. One might opine that he's in bad form but POS is too harsh.

Then the first basemen RTed this: Coaches blaming players for a L is the blame game that should never be played. Especially in the media, that crap can get ugly, quick.
Cohen might be an a-hole but at least he doesn't throw his players under the bus. Geez. And btw, you lost because you scored only 1 run, not because one error.
I think everyone is misinterpreting the way CPM said that. I think he was lamenting the fact that it 'should' have been a routine play, but it bad luck that the throw was too far wide to allow the 1st baseman to keep his foot on the bag.
In other words, yes, the first baseman couldn't keep his foot on the bag, but it a missed oppotunity that the throw drew him off of the bag, and there was no chance he could have gotten him because of the wide throw.
He was mad at the missed opportunity of a routine play not being turned, but was more po'd at the situation and subsequent events, not at the players.
