Well shite. Looks like another long offseason of mid level SEC teams crowing again until realism (losses) bring them back to earth.

Welcome back to the offseason, offseason champs Ole Miss and Arkansas.

IIRC our longest play was that pass down the sideline to Walton that was initially called a 60 yard touchdown but came back to only a 15 yard gain because he stepped out of bounds. But I agree, Mathers was the only back I thought played his arse off in that game.

You're right, it was Jaylen I was thinking of. I think he caught 4 for 50 or so yards. It was a good plan. Caught our linebackers flat-footed more than a couple of times.

I thought everyone agreed UT was the offseason champion this year. Maybe we decided too soon.

Only reason I disagree is because we lost to LSU and lost our bowl game. Arkansas beat you guys and beat Texas in their bowl game so my bet is on them. Although Shea Patterson committing to us has injected new life into us

frican-Americans mongrels in this thread. Yikes.

Also, just a little FYI, Louisiana was one of the first integrated states and New Orleans specifically has been home to traditionally disparaged and insular minorities for over 200 years. So, Louisiana's history isn't great, but in the garbage dump that is the south's racial history, it smells the best.

and completely ignoring David Duke getting >30% vote to be the governor of Louisiana....

Theodore Bilbo was a senator in Mississippi.

While it is a foregone conclusion Swag Kelly and the Rebel offense will torch the LSU defense led by inept DC Kevin Steele, will Swag Kelly throw for seven TDs on the shitty LSU secondary?

Early 1900's smack? As if Louisiana was a bastion of racial tolerance back then...

Far be it for me to defend Duke, but he wasn't the leader of the KKK at any time. He was the leader of something called the KKKK which he created in the 80s. It was a Louisiana organization. He was not a member of that organization when he ran. Bilbo, on the other hand, was a Klansman as a sitting Senator. Both are disgraceful, but those are the facts.

I believe the KKK came to Oxford when LSU was playing on campus in 2009.
