Pulling for him today, wish Belichick would take the gloves off and see what he can do. Seems like Belichick doesn’t trust him.

I think it has more to do with the OL than any trust issues. Seems like when they do try to go deep, it's a sack

I haven't gotten to watch much of the game, but earlier they let Jones throw a couple of long ones and he was absolutely on point. Then they tried again and the right tackle forgot he was playing football for that play and the defensive end hit Jones so hard he entered low orbit. So yeah, the OL is not at all trustworthy. When Jones has time his deep balls are as accurate as they were in college.

He’s completed some nice throws over 20 yards in the air today. The oline is not very good protecting him at times.
